I straight up have to give this place a five on the food! They have quite a variety and it's not often I get to say that there isn't a single thing on the menu that I've tried that I don't like. And I would venture a guess that's I've had a dozen different things at this place. It's surprising once you walk inside to see plenty of tables on the walls along with a beautiful aesthetic inside. The outside of the shopping center is noticeably dilapidated, but that's not the faults of this place. Once you open the second door here, your transported to a special little slice of heaven where your grandma is cooking your favorite ethnic food. I'm not Mexican or South American, but if I were, I would want my grandma to cook just like this. Also, I'm not in the hot stuff at all and if you give them a heads up on what you like and don't like, they hit it out of the park. Don't be afraid to ask! Be specific with your order because they take pride in it.

I had the taco dinner 1 steak, 1 chicken, 1 pork all with cilantro and onions. All the meat was tender and juicy. The salsa they have is amazing both green and red. Make sure to ask for the warm salsa also for the chips and tacos. The only draw back is they put way to much cilantro and onions on the tacos but you can always take it off so I still give 5 stars !! The staff was very polite and my drink was never empty !! Very good guacamole as well.

I've lived in the South subs for 32 years plus. This is the best Mexican food in the south subs. Ice eaten an many Mexican restaurants out here. I grew up in Chicago's Little village and the delicious Authentic Mexican food they have in the city I miss. Melys is Authentic Mexican food !! Thank Goodness !!!

The food was amazing. I had the Carna Asada top with onions, cheese, with rice and beans. It was hands down the absolute best I've ever had. The service was top tier, nestled in a comfortable atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

The food was delicious! The service was fantastic. However, there was no place to tip when paying by card, so we asked them to charge the card for more. Please tip our service people! Would've loved to have a margarita while dining in, but I'll still be back.

As a realtor, I am always trying out local spots and want to find! I had the steak burrito and was so impressed. Was not expecting that. I eat a lot of tacos and that was special. Will definitely be back.

We haven't been disappointed yet after going multiple times. We finally had to leave a review. We've had their beef, chicken, and steak tacos, the tosadas, horchata, chips, and salsa, Everything was really good. But the Steak Burrito Suiza was absolutely amazing!!! Voted by all of us. The salsa is hit or miss spicy hot, and it is not the thick, chunky kind but is still quite tasty. It is relatively small inside with nine booths, no tables, and if there's a lot of to go orders, the line is down the ce nter between the booths while you eat. But the food is really good, even to go. We've eaten in and have had it to go. Gricelda has got it all covered, too; as she has the job of hostess, waitress, bus person, to go orders and all!!! And does it spectacularly. Last note: Pay cash for your orders and pay less than credit/debt card orders.
